Dr. Deng Mao is a seasoned medtech investor at Yonjin Venture and an active board member with over a decade of experience in medtech R&D and investment. He currently serves on the boards of several innovative medtech startups, including CSA medical, Zeto, Arc Medical, and Evasc Neurovascular, where he plays a critical role in shaping strategic direction and fostering growth.

Before transitioning to venture capital, Dr. Mao built a robust career as an engineer and scientist at Philips Healthcare and Johns Hopkins Medicine, where he successfully bridged the gap between academic innovation and commercialization, driving the translation of cutting-edge technologies into viable medical solutions.

Dr. Mao earned his Ph.D. in MRI physics from UT Southwestern and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, after receiving a B.Sc. in Pharmacy from Tianjin University in Tianjin, China.
